The Pathology Department provides a full diagnostic testing service and a phlebotomy service for patients to get blood taken for testing.
By car: Enter the Hospital site at Entrance A. Park in car park 3 or 8.
By bus: Alight at Main Entrance (third stop).聽
Enter hospital at Main Entrance (level 3) and follow the signs for blood tests. From car park 8, follow the signs to the Sarum Entrance (level 3). The department is located on the right.

For patients under the care of the hospital there is a walk-in service for Phlebotomy (blood tests) which is open Monday to Friday聽from 8am until 5pm.
This is on a first come first served basis and during busy times there may be a substantial wait. Afternoons are generally a little quieter and you may have less time to wait.聽
GP patients who wish to have their blood test in the Phlebotomy department at the hospital are required to book a slot via the hospital website:

Some patients may need to be prioritised based on their clinical need and will therefore wait for less time.
All patients attending for a blood test, or dropping off a sample, 惭鲍厂罢听have an appropriate request form.
Anticoagulation clinics are held in the Pathology Department on weekdays. Attendance must be booked in advance by calling 01722 429006. These clinics are for patients new to anticoagulation or for patients who need to see the anticoagulant nurse.
Patients attending to have their International Normalized Ratio (INR) checked can use the walk-in service.
